Rimington Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Cunningham as the new manager of the club. With an impressive and extensive coaching experience, Cockney brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and his arrival marks an exciting new chapter for our club.
Chairman Terry Braithwaite:
We are delighted to offer Steve Cunningham (cockney) the position of first team manager. He is very experienced at our level of football, and we know he will work well with the players at the club and also with Aamir and the young players, who improved so much last season. This should be a very exciting season for us, and I ask that you all give Steve your full support as he attempts to take us back up to where we feel Rimington F.C. belongs.
Stephen Cunningham:
I've just had the call from Terry to offer me the chance to manage Rimington FC, and within a split second, I accepted. I have wanted to be part of this club for many years, and now that I have the chance, I will be giving it everything. I can't wait to meet everyone and work with them all. What Aamir did last season with the reserve team is a great starting point to build on, and I look forward to developing the young lads with him. There is plenty of quality already in both squads to build on, and I already know some of the lads will be great to meet the others. It's great to be back in the East Lancs fold. Let's get going. I'm ready for all the challenges ahead. Once again, thank you to Terry and the committee for their faith and trust. I hope myself and my management team do you all proud....cockney
